Bridgestone E12 Contact

For many new golfers choosing a golf ball to use is not easy.  Some look towards the pros and start with their favorite golfer's ball of choice.  Some just use what they find at garage sales and discount stores. Others use a ball fitment website to see which ball is best for them.  Most of the time trial and error though playing and practicing is how golfers find their favorite ball. The Bridgestone E12 Contact, has been my go to and favorite ball to golf with. After using many different brands and styles of golf balls the E12 really stuck out to me and showed me what it really could do.  I believe the E12 is a great ball for beginner and amateur golfers such as myself.  I say for amateurs not because it's a beginner ball, pros and experienced golfers would also benefit from utilizing the E12, but it has proven to me to be a forgiving ball with more control when needed.

Attributes

Bridgestone has many other types of Golf balls but the E12 has proven to be my favorite so far.   According to Bridgestone this ball has contact force dimples and a flexactiv core which provides 46% more surface contact between the ball and the club for an even more efficient energy transfer, between the club and ball.  The flexactiv cover also controls spin and has better velocity  off of the club face, providing greater distances.  Bridgestone also claims that the contact force cover helps reduce side spin for golfers that hook and slice on full swing shots.  They also come in many colors and in matte.  Many pros such as Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Fred Couples, Matt Kuchar, Chris Gotterup, and Lexi Thompson, Represent Bridgestone balls.

Comparable Bridgestone Balls

Bridgestone has many golf balls on the market. Although the E12 may be superior in my opinion, the Bridgestone E6 and E9 are also great balls.  They are both priced around $25.  I have used both and have had great results with them. The E6 has a soft feel cover and is made for long distance and forgiveness.  The E9 was made for the long drivers, the ones that go for speed and distance.  Both are great balls as well,  personally I prefer the E12 for the better control, but the E6 and E9 both feel great off the face of the driver as well.  I recommend trying the E12 golf balls or any of the Bridgestone balls, for their quality feel and control, to improve your golf game.  At only $30 per box of E12, they’re not breaking the bank compared to Pro V1 balls, and can play a few rounds and not worry about losing a few. Whether you're an amateur as I am or a pro like Tiger, Bridgestone should have a ball for you.
